Analyzing the best neighborhood for a beach-oriented rental property.

Two sisters want to invest in a condo or a house close to the beach, where they can spend four weeks each year and available for rent the remainder of the year. The rental income should cover most of the cost of ownership, and the property must be accessible by car within six hours. The condo should be within walking or cycling distance to a swimming or snorkeling beach, and within 20 minutes of a business district with restaurants and other services.

Using the AirBnB database, we chose to look at properties in San Diego, California, to recommend to the two sisters. Comparative data was taken from Redfin for real property listings and calculations.

Data was cleaned in Excel, and visualizations were made in PowerBI.
